Job Title: Senior Consultant - SAP PPQM
Location: Chennai
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant – SAP PPQM to lead and support SAP Production Planning and Quality Management solutions. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, understanding manufacturing processes, and delivering effective SAP solutions across PP and QM modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on SAP PP and QM implementation, enhancement, rollout, and support activities.
- Gather business requirements and conduct fit-gap analysis.
- Configure and support SAP PP processes, including Material Requirements Planning (MRP), production planning, production orders, and capacity planning.
- Configure and support SAP QM processes, including quality planning, inspection lots, inspection results, usage decisions, and quality notifications.
- Ensure smooth integration of PP and QM with SAP MM, SD, and other relevant modules.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for developments and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot SAP functional issues and provide timely solutions.
- Support end users and prepare functional documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve production planning and quality management processes.
- Work independently on assigned deliverables and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PP and QM.
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP Production Planning and Quality Management.
- Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, or support projects.
- Hands-on experience with SAP PP and QM configuration.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality management workflows.
- Experience in integration with SAP MM, SD, and related modules.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently without team management responsibilities.
- Ability to work according to WAT time zone (12 PM to 9 PM) & Willingness to travel to Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt and South Africa.
